Casket?

If home's where my heart is I'm out of place...Lord, won't You give me strength to makie it through somehow...I've never been more homesick than now...

Why it is still worthy to love? By all means love is a risk. But isn't everything in life a risk? Stumbled across this quote by C.S. Lewis, and found that love, despite all the blood, sweat and tears, is a risk worth taking.

"To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully around with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket—safe, dark, motionless, airless—it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable." - C.S. Lewis

Love, God-given, is not meant to be kept inside with four walls around it. It is meant to be shared and expressed. Remember the 'box skit' we present in most of our mission trips? Yup, thats it.

Merry Christmas, all. And a blessed New Year.
